The world is turning weird. We think we can all agree on that. When random dudes are driving people into their deaths and then jumping out and stabbing people for no apparent reason except that their chosen God wanted them to do that, we have some weird times. Death in the name of God is something that keeps getting repeated in history. In fact, America was built on Christopher Columbus killing Indians because that's what Christianity was to him. God wanted him to do it. Sounds really convenient when your goal is to steal land. Let's just call a spade a spade and realize that God had nothing to do with that one bro.
Anyone that thinks that they know God and what God wants is weird in our opinion. Only God himself or herself can tell us what to do. Humans aren't God. In fact, being human means that you are humbled by your humanity. God notwithstanding, Humans are united. Whether you want to admit it or not, we are all very similar beings. Why are we being divided and killed because people keep making up what they think God is? It's turned into a multi-billion dollar industry (insert faith based churches and other institutions) and has created so much destruction that it actually makes us sick to our stomachs.
What we do know is that in this world, the actual planet is suffering because of man-made pollution and destruction. Let's all start with that first before we go into what God wants us to do. No one knows that because God doesn't live on Earth - we do.
So go out, get humbled by your humanity and leave God out of it. The planet needs us to be better so our kids can have a better life or better yet, a freaking chance of living at all.
Times are weird. Nationalistic and protectionism are the trending topics when it comes to governing countries. Somehow all the years of striving for one world theories, connectivity and innovation by working together is being zapped away by theories of scarcity and fear. A world that has so many resources within it's premises has a whole lot of humans claiming that within their borders what's theirs is theirs and no one can share. When you consistently implement this type of rhetoric and subsequent action, you have a world filled with violence, injustice and poverty. Poverty - whether in resources or of thinking (we like to call this a lack of love) is a big concern. Our modern times of mass transportation means that underserved, impoverished people can easily hit anyone with violence when they feel hate or jealousy in their heart. From our viewpoint, there has never been a more needed time for peacekeeping and sharing. All those concepts that your Kindergarten teacher so desperately tried instilling in you are needed more than ever.
Every human being matters. Every human being was born with a heart and a soul. Somehow as humans get older, we can choose (the power of free will) to step away from our collective soul that ties humanity together. Our hope is that we find this collectiveness again. We don't want to see more news headlines of people unjustly dying. We don't want to see political leaders living in their ego and creating noise for their own benefit. We don't want to see communities not have food to eat. None of this is needed. It was started by people and it can be stopped by people too. All you have to do is try a little bit harder to care about other people. It's time to feel other people's pain and make decisions and act on what is beneficial for all and not just yourself. It's time to create that art. It's time to create that socially conscious business that benefits society. It's time to step away from any one and any thing that is not in line with your values of collaborative and collective thinking and find those that inspire your heart and soul.
We are being asked to step it up as humans. We have reached a cusp of inhumanity and humanity will counter the history and present that is affecting us all so negatively. The great artist, Jimi Hendrix once said, "When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace." Choose love. Choose peace. Change the course of the world. It all starts with you. What will you do today to make the world a more peaceful and loving place? #ArtistsWillChangeTheWorld
We don't know about you, but here at Audacious Endeavors we are exhausted by the cruel and unjust legacy that European Imperialism has left behind. For centuries, groups of "privileged" invaders have been taking over resource-rich land and ruining the lives of native people - all in the name of progress. But who is really progressing? The Natives or the invaders? It doesn't take a genius to see that developing countries that are considered "third world" didn't start off that way. They became that way because groups of people stormed in, killed people, lied and stole from the Natives. It happened everywhere that wasn't Europe.
In America, the same invaders are still in power. America never rightfully went back to its original people. No amount of money or fame makes what these invaders did and continue to do OK. The Natives that protected this land before the European invasion believed in collaboration and respect for all beings. They were not about divide, conquer and ruin the land. The invaders that can't assimilate with the original people's culture need to relinquish their power. The time is now. A true American revolution means that ancestors of ill-minded invaders don't have a seat in the government that we are forced to follow and pay taxes to. It is not a real government of the land. It is a government that the invaders operate.
If you vibe with this, then it's time to take action. Create socially conscious business, obtain wealth and use all your spiritual power to defund the invaders and push them out. They do not deserve economic prosperity in this land and they certainly are not equipped to rule this land. Especially not when they are ruining the earth by extracting resources that the land needs to sustain itself.
These selfish invaders are free to go back to their native land - Europe. They are the real refugees and the invader refugee ban on generations of creating an unjust and an unequal economic system starts today.
The recent immigration ban and subsequent amendment to the ban has caused a stir among the domestic and international communities. And it should. It’s alarming that our Government, built on tax paying constituents, would disrupt the very people that want to come here to build a better life. The fact that so many people find refuge in America isn’t something that we should be alarmed by. Instead, we should be celebrating that so many people seek to come to America in hopes of making a better life for themselves and in turn, positively choose to contribute to our nation’s Gross Domestic Product (simply defined as the total value of goods produced and services provided in a country during one year).
It means that people choose to leave their country to take part in the American economy. An economy that is built on consumption and production. If anyone is afraid that these people are harmful to our nation, then we urge you to examine what makes a nation strong and continue to keep its world power. The nation that has the highest GDP is the nation that continues to keep its world power. If you feel threatened by these new immigrants, we urge you to instead look toward unconditional love and realize that collaboration vs. competition is much more powerful than hate, jealousy and fear.
Somehow, this great nation we call America became divided and that’s okay because in order to create change, sometimes we need to fall apart a bit. But in that falling apart, let’s get back up and become stronger and realize that the more people that vibe with our freedom driven economic policy, the stronger we will be and the more force we have to fight countries that do not believe in human freedom and dignity.
The time is now to work on yourself, get deep and realize that the human potential can destroy others and take away opportunities or you can rise above and be the light. Choose the light. The world has never needed your light more.
"They are children first and foremost and deserve the same care and protection that we give to all children."
No matter your stance on immigration, all children deserve food, clothing and a home. KIND (Kids in Need of Defense) works to protect children who enter the United States alone by giving them proper representation in court.
